The Department of Neurology is a multifunctional tertiary care department providing the full spectrum of general neurology specialty care and neurologic sub-specialty care for all ages of military beneficiaries from pre-term infants to geriatric seniors. Services are for the diagnosis, treatment and education of diseases involving the central, peripheral and autonomic nervous systems. The diagnoses that are commonly treated in our Neurology Clinic are: migraines/headache syndromes, neuropathies, multiple sclerosis, Vertigo/Dizziness and Organic Brain Syndromes (i.e. Alzheimer’s). The department also participates in many vital clinical research projects and programs including the Defense & Veterans Brain Injury Center.
